PowerSchool Support
EduTech's goal is to facilitate support for PowerSchool in the most effective and efficient manner possible. Read below to determine the best option for support issues.
PowerSchool Customer Support Site
PowerSchool has a customer support site which you can use to find answers to advanced questions you may have. Logging in with your customer number as the login and changeme01 as the password.
To find your customer number, go into PowerSchool. Choose System > System settings > Server licensing. The customer number is at the top next to the license key. It will read similar to: US2003ND000. If you have problems logging in, contact the EduTech Help Desk at sendit.helpdesk@sendit.nodak.edu.
PowerGrade Download
To get the latest version of PowerGrade for teachers:
- Enable "Auto Update" in the PowerGrade preferences
- Download the latest version from the PowerSchool Support Site
- Download the latest version from your PowerSchool server at System > PowerGrade Settings > PowerGrade Download/Auto Update
- Teachers may download the latest version from the PowerTeacher website by clicking on the PowerGrade link.

Implementation Period
During the implementation phase (approximately 2 months), the school contact person may directly phone or e-mail the EduTech staff person leading the implementation. Allow time for a response, the EduTech staff person may not be able to give an immediate response due to work commitments, travel time, illness or other conflicts.
Following Implementation
Following implementation, all support questions should go to your school contact person first. If the school contact person is unable to provide support, they should pursue one of the following support options as appropriate:

Click on the question mark on the PowerSchool screen where the issue resides.

EduTech HelpDesk
Call 1.800.774.1091 or send e-mail to sendit.helpdesk@sendit.nodak.edu.
The EduTech Help Desk can provide support on technical and server problems. Server problems will be routed to the Information Technology Department Help Desk.
The EduTech Help Desk cannot provide immediate responses on how-to and application issues. These issues will be logged and routed to the appropriate staff person and a response will be delivered to you within 24 hours.

Release Notes
The school contact person should read release notes carefully and pass important details onto users in their district. The release notes are distributed on the ND PowerSchool list and documented on the ND PowerSchool website.

Statewide and Mini User Groups
Administrators, secretarial staff and teachers are all invited to participate in the statewide and mini user groups. The users groups provide support and information for PowerSchool users on a regular basis. See the EduTech Powerschool website for information.
